In (1313) cornerstone for a small library was put into being. Initially Doctor Refqi Kamel Baig (from Turkey) purchased materials or books for the library. Later as rules were set, additional books were purchased from Turkish professors who had reached the end of their contracts in Afghanistan.
There were several sole donors who helped increase the collection such as: Shotarang who was the principal of Nejat School donated German text books. British Embassy purchased their own native language text books. In addition, books were also ordered from abroad especially from India, France and Germany.
Text books in the library were completely destroyed and burned down in the Taliban Regime who knew no decency nor mercy.
