Preface
The Center for Quality Assurance in order to improve the quality of administrative, academic and teaching affairs in line with the 2017 operational plan. The Center operates according to the division of time and every three months thereafter performs an assessment of the implementation of the quality assurance unit plan and the implemented activities, Unfinished activities in the implementation mode and in accordance with it in the next three months. This is a brief report of the first six months of 2017 in the areas of teaching improvement, administrative affairs, quality assurance and academics.
Activities to improve teaching quality
Since improving the quality of teaching is one of the key indicators in the Strategic Plan for Kabul University of Medical Sciences, according to the 2017 Operational Plan, the following activities will be undertaken to improve the quality of teaching in the first six months of 2017.

  1. Perform teacher assessment by student or receive feedback at the end of lecture
  2. Assessing the quality of teaching by students

3- Conduct an evaluation of the subject by the student and the department
4- Assessment of the teaching method, methodology and behavior, professor's academic activities by the head of department
5- Evaluation of teaching activities, scientific and administrative departments by the Heads of faculties.
6- Placing Workshops
7- The proposal to establish a college student committee in the university

 

Activities to improve the quality of office-level departments and other departments

Since the good management has revealed the activities of an agency, the quality assurance department has tried to improve administrative and management at the level of departments and offices, and has done future work in this regard.

1- Evaluation of administrative and scientific activities of departments

2- Selection of quality assurance agents at departmental level

3- Establishing an administrative committee at the level of the deputy office

4- Conduct a Workshop on the Value of Commitment in Quality Improvement

5- Conduct awareness-raising workshops on improving quality for professors and staff
